Photographed a 3- week old baby girl last night and she just melted my heart!  Her sister participated in our Once Upon A Lifetime and now it is her turn!  Everytime I photograph a newborn, I fall in love all over again..

I photographed Bill and Tracy's wedding 15 years ago!!! (has it been that long!) and over the years photographed their children.  Yesterday, we had a family session here at the farmhouse/studio and I put together a short vignette of the session.  It truly was a pleasure as I love this family dearly!!!

2-year old session

"Baby Boo" came to our studio when she turned 6 months old and she participated in our "Once Upon A Lifetime" program.  Now she is 2!  It amazes me how quickly time flies by and how my tiny subjects are now toddlers!  Miss Boo was a pleasure to photograph and this is the rare photo of a 2 year old reading a book!  She astonishes me with her expansive vocabulary and her sheer independence.  I loved seeing her again and having the opportunity to record her milestone birthday!

 

update on ANGEL CALENDAR

Just to give you a quick update...the calendars are selling well and are stocked at the hospital's gift shop, Annebeth's on Maryland Avenue, and FastFrame on Cherry Grove.  Thank you so much for  your support!  We are pleased to see that the announcement of the 2010 Little Angel Calendar is in the AAMC Quarterly Newsletter which has been sent out to the households in Anne Arundel County!!  I ran into Lisa Hillman, Director of Foundation, who personally thanked me for raising $25,000 and is thrilled to hear that sales are brisk.  We hope to sell all the calendars by year's end and will keep you posted.  They retail for $12.99 and you can click here to get to my website and click on "Angel Calendar" to order your own calendar, OR you can call me at 410 626 7474 to arrange a time to pick up one at the studio.  Remember, these make great holiday gifts and you will be remembered all year round!

GIRLS NITE IN..

We are so busy at the farmhouse/studio!!!  Michael, my brand-new husband and wonderful partner, has been working hard in helping me with Visual Concepts in all aspects...the business side, the production side and in launching his own company...Visual Concepts Fine Art...  For those of you who may not know, Michael is a wonderful and accomplished photographer in his own right.  Before I met him, he set up his own company, "Dad's Images" which comprised of flora and fauna.  His fine art has been sold throughout Virginia and now he is working on images to launch his own business, here in Maryland.  Joyce and David Hough of FastFrame of Annapolis have graciously agreed to show his work at their store so he is working very hard to produce some of his images, but mostly of images he captured during our wonderful, romantic honeymoon in Greece.  Stay tuned, we will post some of them on the blog and will let you know when they are in the FastFrame shop on Cherry Grove in Annapolis!

In addition  to our growth, we are always on the move and one of our big events is coming up...

Columbus Day Baby Photosession

Happy Columbus Day Everyone!  It has been a busy weekend here at the Davidsonville farmhouse/studio where we have been photographing in the studio over the weekend.  We have also been busy outdoors with plantings in and around our pond where we are setting up fall portraits with beautiful potted mums and fall leaves.  We can't wait for this weekend to try it all out!  Actually, we may even do one tomorrow as I have a session with a beautiful two year old girl.  As we all know, 2 year olds don't stand in one place very long...in the intrim, I photographed this beautiful baby boy today in the studio!  Isn't he precious?  He is 6 months old, crawling and on the go...more like 9 months!  In any event, we did get this amazing photos of him.  What a joy!
