Happy Thanksgiving!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This is a time for family and for creating family memories that will be enjoyed for years to come! I hope this finds you amongst your loved ones this Thanksgiving and that you are blessed with great company, great food and great photos! I have put together my Thanksgiving photo tips for you to get you in the mood. Actually, it is more for me as I rarely photograph my own family. This year, we are having our children here along with Rory's girlfriend so it will be a house full of young guns and I am so looking forward to it! I will post images...
THANKSGIVING PHOTO TIPS
Here are some tips for you for some memorable Thanksgiving photo pics!
1. Be sure your camera's batteries are recharged (do night before) and make sure you have plenty of cards.
2. Photograph guests as they arrive...spontaneous shots! Esp. if they are bringing a dish.
3. Photograph your children throughout the day..helping prepare the table, helping with meal prep, playing with Grandpa/Grandma and cousins and aunts and uncles
4. Get everyone outside for a group shot and then lots and lots of action shots. BIGGEST MISTAKE AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS MAKE? Images are too far away. GET IN CLOSE!
5. Photograph the table before everyone sits down. Pay attention to details!
6. Photograph everyone sitting at the table.
7. And, of course, photograph the cleaner uppers!
8. And, finally, photograph the crashers..you know, Grandpa snoozing, Dad watching TV...
9. Get in some photos yourself
10. DELEGATE, DELEGATE, DELEGATE..all day long..nothing to do with photography but give everyone a job so YOU are not doing it all! It's your Thanksgiving Day as well..
HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!!!!
